Don't Call Me Ginger

I wore this outfit yesterday for a day out and about with my sister Ingrid. It's a really simple look - but when it's 95 F outside you wanna keep it basic! Everything is vintage.

I've never understood why redheads (like my dear daddy and me!) are called gingers. Ginger is yellow. Personally, I'd say my hair (when I feel like resembling my dad) is more like paprika! Wouldn't you say?

Here's a closer look at the dress, which is - ta da! - for sale! It's a really simple sun dress, tailored but comfy and flowy, covered in lovely little daisies. It has spaghetti straps and a zipper in the back. Just $5 - leave me a comment or email me at thelipstickeffect@hotmail.com if you're interested. Much love! <3

Jag hade en gång en båt

Dress: Lulu*s, Belt: High school graduation, Hat: Vintage

My beautiful new sundress from Lulu*s! This is the Farmer's Market dress (worn with one of my graduation ropes instead of the included belt), and I love it. It's soft and flowy and summery, and I adore the assymetrical hem. It's summer, baby!

The Gardener's Brown-Eyed Daughter

Jumper: Solissa, Shoes: Wholesale-dress.net, Cap: My dad

My absolute favorite playsuit! It was a perfect day for it, too, about 75 degrees and with a nice breeze. Went with some friends to World Peace Gardens this morning and took some time running barefoot through the meditation labyrinth...wonderful! <3 :)

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th! My favorite! :D

Dress: Gina Tricot, Shoes: wholesale-dress.net, Parasol: Japanese anime convention, Earrings: Costa Rica (gift from a friend)

Today was a whopping 79 degrees Fahrenheit (26 C)...too hot, I say! At least in the direct sun. The parasol was an absolute necessity.

Still looking like a totally different person...the swelling from getting my wisdom teeth out has reached its peak, I'd say. Hopefully it will start going down soon and I'll look like me again! :)
